Charlie Bucket is a nice boy who lives in a very poor family. His family is so poor that they can barely even afford their own food. One day there was an ad in the paper which said that five of the Wonka chocolate bars all over the world would have a golden ticket inside of the wrapper. If you get a golden ticket you get a tour of the factory that makes Wonka Chocolate and afterwards you get a life time supply of candy. Every year for his birthday Charlie gets one Wonka Chocolate bar, but you’ll have to read the book to see if he gets a golden ticket.
I really enjoyed this book. Sometimes I found the book funny and the author never suspended you in the middle of a really good part of the book. The thing that I didn’t like about is that there wasn’t really a villain, but overall I would rate this book 9/10.
